DIY Sea-Themed Bathroom Wall Decor
A sea theme can add a tropical feel to your bathroom even if you don't live by the water.
Having a sea theme around you while you take a bath is relaxing and allows you to imagine you are in a more tropical environment. Use plenty of sea colors, like blue and green, when decorating the sea room. If you are decorating an adult bathroom, you can use more mature variations of these colors, such as sage green with driftwood whites and grays. Does this Spark an idea?

Create India Decor in a Restaurant
India décor is characterized by vibrant colored fabrics, polished metal artwork, elaborately carved woodwork and iconic statuary. Creating a cohesive, rather than chaotic design from these elements requires a focused approach. Start by choosing which textiles you'll use for table linens, curtains and wall hangings. Select one of the prominent colors in those textiles and use that for your wall color. Complement the décor with traditional Indian music. Use more subdued accessories to create an elegant dining experience. Add this to my Recipe Box.

Make a Pebble Wall
If you have a pebble collection and don't know how to display it, try hanging them in the wall -- that's "in," not "on." By pressing your pebbles into the wall, you create a sturdy, permanent display. If you don't want to treat the entire wall, you can always simply bond the pebbles to the outside of the wall. You can even attach your pebbles to glass, enabling you to extend your pebble wall design over windows or mirrors. Regardless of the extent of your design, you need only use the proper adhesive. Make Vinyl Wall Art
If you rent an apartment or live in a dorm, you may be stuck with ugly walls that you aren't allowed to paint. Or perhaps your wall color is fine, but you have little art to hang and a small decorating budget. You can use contact paper to make vinyl wall-art stickers that are both inexpensive and removable. Contact paper will not damage your walls, and you can move them with you to future homes. Colored contact paper is available in large rolls at craft and office-supply stores.
