Print a Recipe to a 4X6 Card Size

Recipe cards are a handy way to keep the instructions for your favorite dishes close at hand. Rather than taking the time to tediously write out recipe cards by hand, you can now streamline the process by printing your cards off of the computer. This will not only create neater cards, it will also allow you to make sure that your recipe will fit before you find yourself with a full card and another page of instructions to add. Does this Spark an idea?

Make a Recipe Book on Microsoft Works

Use Yogurt in Recipes As a Fat Substitute
Yogurt can be used as a fat substitute in many different types of recipes. It has the ability to help retain moisture in baked goods, and adds flavor to recipes that use heavy creams, while at the same time reducing the fat content and amount of calories. Those who wish to greatly reduce the amount of fat in certain foods can try using low-fat or non-fat yogurt, though some experimentation might be required before the desired taste and texture of a dish is achieved. Convert a Muffin Recipe to Bake in a Mini Muffin Pan
There are several different muffin recipes that are made into muffins and/or sweet treats, such as mini cheesecakes, mini pies and mini cakes. There are also different sized pans used to bake these confections, three to be exact. There is the regular muffin pan, which fits about 12 muffins in the pan, there are jumbo muffin pans which can fit six jumbo muffins in the pan and there also is a mini muffin pan which holds up to 24 mini muffins in the pan. Baking times differ from one batch of muffins to another and it also varies for the size of muffins you bake. Add this to my Recipe Box.

Eat a Kiwano Horned Melon
Kiwano horned melons grow in New Zealand and even some parts of California. Originally from Africa, this unique-looking melon is orange at peak ripeness and covered with spiky protrusions. You can keep a kiwano melon for about 2 months, so it makes an ideal decoration for a table centerpiece. The kiwano melon's flavor compares to that of a cucumber, with edible seeds and a jelly-like center. Add this to my Recipe Box.
